Winner of City Security Article of the Year Award 2024\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n

We are delighted to announce our Article of the Year 2024 Winner Figen Murray OBE<\/a> for her article Martyn’s Law – time to get it done.<\/a><\/p>\n

We presented Figen with her award at the The Security Event (TSE)<\/a> following her excellent fireside chat with Philip Ingram MBE<\/a>. Figen has ‘got it done’ with Martyn’s Law receiving Royal Assent last week and this is largely down to her tenacity, grace and inspirational campaigning. In a dual-located awards ceremony, Don Randall MBE, Chairman of the City of London Crime Prevention Association<\/a> announced and congratulated our other finalists:<\/p>\n

Selecting the winners and finalists<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The finalists for the City Security magazine Article of the Year Award 2024 were selected from articles published in the last twelve months\u2019 editions (Autumn & Winter 2023 and Spring & Summer 2024) and then subsequently published online on the citysecuritymagazine.com website.<\/span><\/p>\n

We then asked our subscribers and readers to vote for their favourite from these top ten.<\/p>\n
